I finally weighed enough to donate blood for the first time, so I did just that. Within one week, I was notified that my blood was used for a blood transfusion to save someone's life. That made me feel so good that I signed up again to donate in December. Hopefully, I still weigh enough to donate blood next time 
Congratulations! Very cool to hear...didn't know there was a weight requirement though.
